So today I started my blog.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm WAY excited. I've been talking about blogging for months now. And not to just jump on the band wagon, but to use it as my personal journal. All of you that ever read it, I apologize in advance. I don't know where that will take me. But allow me to be on the "loser list" for a moment and tell you a story (a.k.a. list of excuses) about my NEED for this blog.
So... about a year ago now, I started dating this wonderful boy named Robert T. And... of course, fell madly in love. He took up all my time, and I got home much too sleepy from our late nights, and I completely stopped writing in my journal. (Which I once was a pro at, by the way.) And then, the ring came, and the busy-ness increased and the sleep decreased, and then the wedding day was upon us. And of course, it's an absolute MUST that every girl write about her wedding in her journal. And so... I tried. And failed. Miserably. And the thing about being a perfectionist is that I couldn't use my journal to record all the wonderful things that have happened since, no matter how bad I wanted to, simply because I hadn't ever finished writing about my wedding! So if ever anyone stumbles upon my journal, you're bound to fall asleep in the middle of a much-too-long attempt at telling every little detail about my wedding. And thus, the NEED for my blog.
I finally get to record my life!
Well, I, for one, can't wait! Never having been allowed inside the pages of your journal, but having witnessed a fair amount of your life from the outside, I think it will be fun to keep up with the Tranter Times in this virtual world. But just be sure you keep a back-up copy somehow. Any journal is too precious to lose, even if you can't hide it under your pillow. A beautiful beginning... Love you! Mom
