a few mentionables

I am a graduate! (and anyone that knows the truth is required to keep their mouth shut...)

Here are some of my best nursing friends! Christina, who you may recognize as the previous house centipede killer; Andrea-the girl that keeps me laughing; myself; Whitney-who actually wears that expression more than you'd think; Kerri-who can talk at 100 miles a minutes and is the most proactive girl I've ever met, and Laura-who helped me survive DC :)

Karen is missing, because she just got married! But we love her and missed her just the same!

Here I am with my mouth watering at the yummy and totally amazing graduation caps (out of Reeses and Ghiradelli squares) that Aubrey made me! She's so creative!!

And my cute husband surprised me with my favorite movie, Baby Mama, a wonderful night out at Cheesecake, and a Hawaii calendar (in a loving gesture to say "let's go") How cute is he?!

Exactly one week after graduation, Christina (pictured above) also got married. I loved getting to do her flowers, mainly because I got to be right there at all the special moments. Bridals, the temple exit, and her reception before it was crowded with people!! I will post pics soon.

So in my attempts to be domestic, I made pillows. I totally knocked the idea off my sister-in-law, Laura, but I completed them myself, all the same! They make our house feel homier :) Pics also to come.

And we made new friends, who are GREAT! We already are in love with them. That is in fact a truer statement than I'd like when it comes to Rob and Steve. Right Meg?

Also, I need to mention, I went on a run today that was SO refreshing. I love those kind. When I run on the treadmill at work it feels like a chore, but I ran through historic Sandy today, and I loved all the sights and smells, I nearly forgot I was running! I passed many families outdoors gardening and such, a packed baseball arena, smelled some oh-so-fragrant flowers, and through an adorable bite-sized park with a playground that I will one day take my children to.

That's a lot of stuff goin on!

We love our life. :)
